North and East Skye to Loch Gairloch

North and EastSkye from Loch Alsh to Loch Gairloch including Loch Torridon and Loch Snizort.

The Inner Sound and the Sound of Raasay provide a sheltered area with spectacular scenery and wide variety of anchorages. Both Loch Torridon and Loch Gairloch are easy to get to with no major headlands.

At the Eastern most point of Skye, the new Skye bridge links the island to the mainland and at the north west of Skye, Loch Snizort cuts deeply into the Island, offering a shelter in South to Easterly conditions. With sea cliffs and imposing headlands beside white coral and black sandy beaches along with all the small islands and caves, this region provides a secluded and timeless ambiance that will cater to the photographer, artist and general sailor alike.

This region includes Portree, the major town on Skye, and Uig which houses the termail for ferry trips to the Outer Hebrides.
